The Big Noob

From 2001-2005, Brad Smith and I ran a small design agency in Springfield, MO called Neubix. We worked primarliy for local clients and we developed amazing, homegrown talent like Nathan Borror and Keegan Jones. The Big Noob started out as our company blog but morphed into a blog consortium when Brad and I moved to Boston and Keegan moved to Austin. We loved exploiting things that took themself too seriously (like giant executive head shots) and tried to spin them into something goofy and lighthearted.

In attempt to capitalize on our successful (marginally) blog and make huge piles of cash (lie), we launched our own line of merchandise (one shirt). People bought them, but more importantly, they wore them.

Lesson learned: Never do your own fulfillment.

Real life noobs.
